Jersey Boys at the Palazzo Theatre Review

Jersey Boys is a true success story, in two ways. It started at Southern California’s La Jolla Playhouse in 2004, moved to Broadway, and earned four Tony Awards in 2006. It has since gone on to form several other companies, including ones based in Chicago, Melbourne, and London. The Las Vegas company is installed at the gorgeous Palazzo Resort.

The show is also a success story in that it traces the history of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons from their simple beginnings in New Jersey, to becoming one of the top pop groups of the 1960’s, to their inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Both the music and the show are infectious.

If you haven’t seen Jersey Boys, see it in Vegas, and if you have, see it again at the Palazzo’s Jersey Boys Theatre where it runs indefinitely. Buy now and save $20 on your next order over $250.

Jersey Boys Las Vegas Cast to Appear in Ferrell/Wahlberg Movie ‘The Other Guys’

The Jersey Boys Las Vegas cast will grace the big screen in Sony Pictures’ new action-comedy, “The Other Guys,” starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. “The Other Guys” opens Friday, August 6 and includes a scene where the film’s characters attend a performance of Jersey Boys in New York City. Though the film is set in The Big Apple, the scene was actually shot with the Las Vegas cast at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino.

“The Other Guys” is the story of two mismatched police detectives who fight to prove themselves as the city’s top cops but things do not go exactly as planned.

The musical phenomenon Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, now in its third year at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel Casino, has been named the number one show on The Strip by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Las Vegas Weekly.

One question with Joseph Leo Bwarie:
What’s it like being on the road for years at a time with a touring show?

Joseph Leo Bwarie’s Answer: Not being able to come home is the hardest part. Really difficult. We become a family on tour, our cast and crew and administration that travels with us. We become a “don’t mess with us, we’re Jersey boys, and we’ll take care of each other no matter what” kind of group. When you’re away from your friends and family and relationships, it is isolating, so to be in such a company where everyone takes care of each other is important. We have that and I know that’s not true for a lot of tours. We have managed to not only be good at our jobs, but be good at being people together, co-existing as we travel in this crazy job we have pretending to be legendary rock stars.
