Jersey Boys will be returning to Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Orpheum Theatre Thursday, April 21 and Perform through Sunday, May 8 2011. Jersey Boys, Orpheum Theatre-mn Tickets are on sale now. Jersey Boys is part of Hennepin Theatre Trust’s 2010/11 Broadway Across America-Minneapolis season.
Directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff, this sensational blockbuster is written by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by original Four Seasons member Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
The premiere engagement of Jersey Boys in Minneapolis played March 19-April 20, 2008, was seen by nearly 100,000 theatregoers and broke Orpheum Theatre box office records. The Star Tribune called it “an entertaining jaunt down memory lane” and the Pioneer Press commented, “…It’s easy to see why the show won the Best Musical Tony!”
