Jersey Boys coming to Western Canada in 2012. The award-winning musical story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons is booked for dates in the year 2012 Saskatoon SK Canada. Jersey Boys runs at TCU Place from September 26 to October 13, 2012. Ticket prices and on-sale dates have not been announced.
From the promoter: “This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide — all before they were 30.”
Jersey Boys opened at the August Wilson Theatre on Broadway to critical acclaim on Nov. 6, 2005. As of April 24, 2011, it had grossed more than $1.1 billion dollars and been seen by approximately 12.5 million people.
“Jersey Boys is our first presentation outside of Toronto, where we had a very successful two-year run, and I am honoured to bring this incredible musical to Saskatoon as this show is not to be missed,” Aubrey Dan, President of Dancap Productions Inc., said in a release.
