Jersey Boys left Buffalo on a very high note, with the award-winning production helping Shea’s Performing Arts Center set a box-office record. Shea’s officials said Monday that for the week ending May 9, the hit musical grossed $1,511,033, surpassing the old record of $1,486,364, set by Wicked.
