Jersey Boys Done again, broke the box office record at the Forrest Theatre for the sixth time.
The Philadelphia engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning musical Jersey Boys broke the box office record at the Forrest Theatre for the sixth time, grossing $1,451,273 for the week ending November 28. This tops the previous record of $1,401,420, which they set the week ending November 21.
The cast of Jersey Boys is lead by Matt Bailey (Tommy DeVito), Joseph Leo Bwarie (Frankie Valli), original Broadway cast member Steve Gouveia (Nick Massi), Quinn VanAntwerp (Bob Gaudio), with Jonathan Hadley and Joseph Siravo.
Jersey Boys began performances in Philadelphia on Thursday, September 30 and will play through Sunday, December 12. Jersey Boys will next play Boston’s Colonial Theatre from December 16 through January 30.

This tops the previous record of $1,290,854, that they set the week ending November 8.

Jersey Boys will be visiting Appleton, Wisconsin at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center June 1-19, 2011. The performance schedule is Tuesday – Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Special matinee performances will be presented on Thursday, June 2 and Thursday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m.

The Broadway production of Jersey Boys has raised $43,521 to benefit New York Public Schools, the musical’s producers said Monday.
The show about the iconic pop group Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons marked its fifth anniversary on Broadway this month.
As part of its celebration of the milestone, the production pledged to donate a dollar from each ticket sold to an October performance to VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
The money raised will help restore the instrumental music education program at P.S. 85 in the Bronx and the additional funds will go toward a second grant recipient school to be named in the future, the show’s producers said in a news release.
