Jersey Boys Broadway Cast Update – Jarrod Spector Will Again Play Frankie Valli

Jarrod Spector will again take the role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys Broadway on October 2 at the August Wilson Theater as Tony winner John Lloyd Young will play his final performance on September 30. The Jersey Boys Broadway cast will also joined by Drew Gehling and Jeremy Kushnier on October 9 as Bob Gaudio and Tommy DeVito, respectively as Quinn VanAntwerp and Andy Karl scheduled to depart on October 7.

Jarrod Spector Will Again Play Frankie Valli

Jersey Boys musical current cast – Matt Bogart as Nick Massi in addition to Peter Gregus, Mark Lotito, Miles Aubrey, Jared Bradshaw, Cara Cooper, Ken Dow, John Edwards, Russell Fischer, Kristofer McNeeley, Katie O’Toole, Joe Payne, Jessica Rush, Dominic Scaglione Jr., Nathan Scherich, Sara Schmidt and Taylor Sternberg.

Jarrod Spector joined the Broadway company of Jersey Boys in 2008 after touring with the show and opening the musical’s Chicago production. Gehling previously made his Broadway debut in the role of Bob Gaudio and has also appeared in the show’s Las Vegas, San Francisco and Chicago companies. He has also appeared on Broadway in On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Kushnier has toured with Jersey Boys and appeared on Broadway in Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent and Footloose.

Jersey Boys Coming Back to New Haven CT on September 25

The national touring company of Jersey Boys Musical coming back to New Haven on September 25 only for two weeks. The show opens Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Shubert Theater and continue through October 07, 2012.

Jersey Boys Shubert Theater CT Schedule:
Tuesday to Thursday – 7:30 PM
Friday – 8:00 PM
Saturday – 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM
Sunday – 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM

Jersey Boys previously visited New Haven Five years ago and that broke box office records around the country ever since. “Jersey Boys” tells the story of the rise of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and the challenges the group faced once it reached the top. The cast includes Jason Kappus, Brad Weinstock, Colby Foytik, and Brandon Andrus.

Theater spokesman Anthony Lupinacci noted that the demand for “Jersey Boys” in New Haven was so strong that the theater decided on a two-week booking for the show, the longest run for any touring show to play that venue in many years.

Jersey Boys Musical Returning to Detroit, MI – Dec 11, 2012 to Jan 06, 2013

Jersey Boys musical will be returning Fisher Theatre – MI as a part Broadway in Detroit series. Jersey Boys Musical Tour will arrive in Detroit MI for a four week run on December 11, 2012 and continue through January 06, 2013.

Lichtenstein says Detroit remains a favorite market for touring shows such as “Jersey Boys,” which is returning for nearly a month in December. The show’s first Detroit stop in late 2009 played to an astounding 99% capacity over a six-week run.
