The Jersey Boys first national tour returns to Charlotte, North Carolina’s Belk Theater, opening Wednesday, February 22 with 24 performances through March 11. Jersey Boys Musical, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi: how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide – all before they were thirty.
Members of the touring company for the musical “Jersey Boys” visited campus after being invited by student group Broadway Cares. Four cast members and a manager from the musical ran a dance workshop and vocal workshop for students in Eppler Complex. Jersey Boys is currently showing at Stranahan Theater in Toledo.

Dates have been announced for the Atlanta return engagement of the hit musical Jersey Boys. The musical will make its much-anticipated return to Atlanta to play the Fabulous Fox Theatre May 22 through June 10 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2011-12 season.
“Atlanta audiences embraced the premiere engagement of Jersey Boys,” said Broadway in Atlanta Vice President Russ Belin. “In addition to receiving tremendous feedback from theatergoers, we estimate that the 2009 engagement added more than $2 million to the local economy through patronage of area restaurants and parking lots as well as through local staff hires.”
Jersey Boys is the winner of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award®, the 2006 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Show Album, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical and the 2010 Helpmann Award for Best Musical (Australia). The premiere engagement of Jersey Boys in Atlanta was an overwhelming success, seen by more than 91,000 theatergoers and hailed as “A virtually seamless musical entertainment that transcends generational appeal to tell a good story,” by Wendell Brock for theAtlanta Journal-Constitution.
