Jersey Boys returns to State Theatre Cleveland through July 17

Jersey Boys are back in to the city Cleveland, Ohio. The musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, which broke State Theatre Cleveland records in 2008, opens on Wednesday June 22 and runs through Sunday, July 17 at the State Theatre.

The 1960s doo-wop singing sensations sold 175 million records before they were 30 years old. The play tells the story of how four blue-collar guys from the streets of New Jersey rocketed to the top of the pop charts. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

Joseph Leo Bwarie will reprise his role as Frankie Valli, and Steve Gouveia, a member of the original Broadway cast, will play Nick Massi again. These two cast members from the 2008 tour are returning for this engagement.

Raking in more than $7.7 million, the “Jersey Boys” 2008 run at PlayhouseSquare broke the box office record previously set by “Wicked.” Total attendance of 24,466 for “Jersey Boys” topped a record held by “The Phantom of the Opera.”

“Jersey Boys” went on to shatter all tour city records, including those in Chicago, Las Vegas and London. The winner of four Tony awards, “Jersey Boys” features Four Seasons hits such as “Walk Like a Man” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”

Jersey Boys will be playing in Cleveland Ohio through July 17, 2011. Buy and Get $10 OFF on Jersey Boys State Theatre Cleveland Ticket Orders over $350! Use Code AFF$10.
