Richard H. Blake to Join Jersey Boys Broadway
The producers of the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best musical Jersey Boys have announced that Richard H. Blake (Legally Blonde, Wicked) will join the cast on Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the role of “Tommy DeVito.” He assumes the role from Andy Karl who departs the production following the Sunday, December 1st performance. John Gardiner, who played “Tommy” on the national tour, will perform the role from December 3, 2013 through Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi, about a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. Casting has been announced for the upcoming Philadelphia engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys, The story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will play the Forrest Theatre December 11, 2013 to January 5, 2014.

The cast will be led by Philadelphia-area native Brandon Andrus (Nick Massi), Nick Cosgrove (Frankie Valli), Nicolas Dromard (Tommy DeVito) and Jason Kappus (Bob Gaudio) as The Four Seasons, with Barry Anderson and Thomas Fiscella.

Jersey Boys Movie to Release in June 2014
The film adaptation of the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys, which will feature members of the Broadway cast including Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young, will arrive in theatres June 20, 2014, according to Deadline.com.
In addition to Young, who will play Franki Valli, the cast will also feature Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda and Vincent Piazza as Four Seasons Bob Gaudio, Nick Massi and Tommy DeVito, respectively.
Tony Award-winning playwright John Logan (Red, I’ll Eat You Last) has penned the screenplay based on the original Broadway script written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, who earned Tony Award nominations for their work.
The film will include the hit songs from the Broadway production by Bob Gaudio and Bob Crewe.
