Toronto Jersey Boys to Close in August 22
The Toronto production of the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys will say “Bye, Bye Baby” to Toronto on Sunday, August 22, 2010, the date of their second anniversary, the date of the show’s second anniversary at that Canadian venue.
The Jersey Boys musical made its Toronto premiere as a limited engagement Aug. 21, 2008. After opening to rave reviews, Jersey Boys became a resident production on Dec. 12, 2008. It is now the longest-running musical in the history of the Toronto Centre for the Arts, Jersey Boys will play its final performance Sunday, August 22 at 7:30pm, which will be the Company’s 830th performance. Tickets to all performances are now on sale.

Jersey Boys Toronto company will celebrate its 500th performance this Saturday, February 27 at the matinee. The Toronto company of Jersey Boys is playing at the Toronto Center for the Arts (5040 Yonge Street), where it opened December 14, 2008 following the Jersey Boys touring engagement, and is currently on sale through June 30, 2010.
The Toronto production of Jersey Boys is the winner of two 2009 Dora Mavor Moore Awards: Outstanding Direction of a Musical for Des McAnuff and Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Musical for Jeff Madden, as well as the Audience Choice Award.

Jersey Boys Toronto to Give Special Valentine’s Day Performance
{Via Broadwayworld.com} – Toronto’s very own Jersey Boys are coming out for a special Valentine’s Day event, in addition to announcing a new promotion for discounted seats to the huge popular show at The Toronto Centre for the Arts.
The Tony, Grammy, Olivier and Dora-Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS will perform on the Waterfall Stage at First Canadian Place on Thursday, February 4th at 12:15PM and 1:15PM in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
