Jersey Boys 17th Longest-Running Show in Broadway History

Jersey Boys became the 17th longest-running show in Broadway history with the Wednesday’s (July 17) night performance. Jerse Boys musical surpasses Tobacco Road with 3,183 performances, becoming the 17th longest-running show in Broadway history.

Jersey Boys opened on Broadway on November 6, 2005 at the August Wilson Theatre. The show has been seen by over 18 million people worldwide (as of July, 2013) and is currently playing in New York; Las Vegas; London; Capetown, South Africa; in cities across the U.S. on a National Tour and will open soon in The Netherlands.

Jersey Boys is the recipient of the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical and the 2009 Olivier Award for Best Musical.

Jersey Boys Broadway CAST:
Jersey Boys current ‘Franki Valli,’ John Lloyd Young, will play his final performance on 28 Jul 2013. Dominic Scaglione Jr. and Joseph Leo Bwarie will alternate in the role of Frankie Valli in the Broadway company at the August Wilson Theatre beginning July 30.
